ELP-USBGS5MP01-UFV (2.8-12) is a 5 megapixel global shutter USB camera designed for industrial machine vision. It features a 1/2.5 inch OmniVision OG05B10 sensor with a maximum resolution of 2592×1944, supporting MJPEG and YUY2 outputs. The camera achieves 50fps at 5 MP resolution and 60fps at 1080P resolution, equipped with a 2.8–12 mm manual zoom lens with adjustable field of view. Compliant with the USB 2.0 driverless UVC protocol, it is compatible with Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android systems, making it ideal for high-speed motion capture, object detection, industrial inspection, license plate recognition, and machine vision applications.

Why choose global shutter?
A global shutter (total shutter) camera can captures an image by exposing the entire sensor at once, rather than scanning the sensor line-by-line as in a rolling shutter camera. This means that all pixels in the image are exposed simultaneously, resulting in an image that is free of distortion caused by motion during exposure.It can avoid smearing when when capturing high-speed motion.
